On June 24, 2012 130 golfers participated in the ABC Recycling 100th Anniversary Golf Tournament at Morgan Creek. The tournament raised over $23,000 from the silent auction, live auction, donations and sponsors for the Kidney Foundation of BC. In 2010, ABC partnered with the Kidney Foundation of BC and launched “Kidney Metals”, a program encouraging customers to contribute to the Kidney Foundation by directing some or all of the payment for their recycled metal to the foundation.
