In 2013 we received The Burnaby Business Hall of Fame award, a special honour bestowed jointly by the Burnaby Board of Trade and the City of Burnaby. This award recognized our significant contribution to business and community in Burnaby. Our company relocated to Burnaby in the early 1970s, and began to lay down roots in the community and build strong relationships with many organizations. Our long-standing partnership with the Burnaby Firefighters Charitable Society is one example. We support their annual charitable gala, golf tournament, and donate derelict automobiles for training purposes. In celebration of our 100 year anniversary, we established legacy projects with the Burnaby Hospital Foundation: a $30,000 gift to purchase a Transport Isolette (a mobile, enclosed unit designed to create a controlled, stable environment for infants who need to be moved within the hospital), and the creation of a $50,000 “ABC Recycling Educational Award.”
