On June 6, 2022 ABC Recycling and Williams Lake First Nation (WLFN) signed a MOU which includes revenue sharing, employment opportunities, and developing and growing new relationships. In February 2023, ABC and WLFN secured a contract with Gibraltar Mine Mines Ltd. Gibraltar operates a copper mine located within William’s Lake First Nation, approximately 69 km north of Williams Lake on a twenty-four-hour seven days a week basis. Gibraltar requires the removal of recycled metal, and waste wood, as well as the relocation of waste rubber products to a designated location on-site. This is the largest account ABC has for the North allowing a steady supply for the duration of the year. In addition to the metal recycling contract, ABC has been tasked with various projects in Gibraltar including the decommissioning of two (2) PH2300 Shovels.
