To celebrate our 100 year anniversary, we established two legacy projects with the Burnaby Hospital Foundation. One of the projects was a gift of $30,000 to purchase a Transport Isolette, a mobile, enclosed unit designed to create a controlled, stable environment for infants who need to be moved within the hospital. Our second project was the establishment of a $50,000 “ABC Recycling Educational Award” to be paid out as a bursary of $5,000 per year for ten years.
The Award was for educational and professional certification opportunities for healthcare professionals serving in the field of Maternity and NICU at Burnaby Hospital.
