To preserve the world's resources and strengthen the lives of our people and communities
Community Engagement
At ABC Recycling, we believe that our work should contribute to the betterment of both the environment and the communities we serve. One of our core values is to commit to our future, and we recognize that true sustainability extends beyond recycling metal—it means making a lasting impact in the places where we live and work. As a family-owned business, giving back is part of our DNA, rooted in the family’s tradition of tzedakah, the Hebrew word for charity. Through our social purpose initiatives, we live our core values.
Social Purpose & Indigenous Commitment
ABC Recycling is a purpose-driven company, committed to using our resources and expertise to create positive social change. Our social purpose committee spearheads initiatives that align with our mission, ensuring that our contributions go beyond financial support to include active community engagement. A key focus of our social purpose is Indigenous relations and reconciliation, where we dedicate 50% of our paid employee volunteer time to initiatives that support Indigenous communities and environmental solutions.
