Valuable partnerships are at the heart of our business

Industry Partnerships

Long-term partnerships are an important element of our approach as we work to build sustainable success for all groups we work with, be they clients, community members, associations or other recyclers.

Indigenous Partnerships

Partnerships with Indigenous Peoples

Indigenous Partnership are an important element of our community responsibilities. In 2019, we published our Indigenous People Commitment Policy and are working hard to become recognized as the steward of the communities by working with all groups on Indigenous projects. Our relationships and experience with Indigenous groups is an important element of our day-to-day practices.

Key Industry Associations

Environmental stewardship is at the heart of our operational practices. We are active members of the following associations that are key in the recycling industry.

  • Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA)
  • Bureau of International Recycling (BIR)
  • BC Construction Safety Association (BCCSA)
  • Canadian Association of Recycling Industries (CARI)
  • Coast Waste Management Association (CWMA)
  • Indigenous Zero Waste Target Advisory Group (IZWTAG)*
  • Major Appliance Recycling Roundtable (MARR)*
  • Mining Suppliers Association of BC (MSABC)
  • Recycled Metals Association (ReMA)
  • Recycling Council of BC (RCBC)
  • Waste Management Association of BC (WMABC)

*Although these organizations are accessible to many, we have developed unique working relationships with MARR and IZWTAG that adds value to their operation and the communities we service. We also come to the table together to do work that others would not pursue due to its difficulty, location or cost. Our employee volunteer release time assists in this process.
